What is the Krillion game?
Krillion is a daily browser trivia game. Every player gets the same seven prompts, and for each one you have 25 seconds to name a single thing that fits.
The twist: being right is not enough. Rare valid answers sink your dive deeper, while obvious ones barely count. The goal is an answer that is correct and uncommon at the same time.
Five ways to find rarer answers

Scan before you type. Use the first seconds to list two or three valid candidates instead of grabbing the first one.

Skip the headline answer. If an answer popped into your head instantly, it probably popped into everyone else’s too — and the famously “obscure” pick is often a Too Clever that everyone reaches for.

Stay inside the category. A region is not a country and a tournament is not a sport. Check the boundary before you commit.

Prefer clear specifics. A well-known specific name beats a risky spelling. Autocorrect matches aliases, which can turn a typo into a different answer.

A rejected answer only costs time. If an answer is not accepted, type another straight away. Keep going until one sticks — just do not let the 25 seconds run out.

What is "the Krillion" answer?
According to the official FAQ, each prompt has a featured gem answer. It is chosen for rarity and for fun, so it is not always the single rarest answer — it is one that at least a few players can land on.
Why was my answer not accepted?
Answer sets are compiled from sources such as dictionaries, wiki pages and encyclopedias, so a fair answer is occasionally missing. Autocorrect also checks aliases, so a near-miss spelling can match a different answer.
Is there a Krillion unlimited mode?
Yes, but it is paid. As of November 2026, the official site offers Unlimited mode and the Archive of past days as a one-time $5 unlock, which also removes ads. Themed packs are free while in beta. Our own archive of past hints is free.
Is Krillion an AI game?
Not in the sense of AI-written questions. The official FAQ says some prompts are scored against a database of how often words appear in real text, while others use LLM assistance plus a manual review.
